Patrick was a pro at hunting eggs and very excited!

Riley did great hunting eggs and had a great time. Molly didn't want any part of finding the eggs until she realized there was chocolate inside them.

Life....

I've been posting alot of scrap lately and thought I'd post about life for a minute. 

Lately Patrick and Riley have been playing good together, She's starting to roll play better or maybe she's just following Patrick's intructions better.  Anyway its been nice to see. 

The other day I was so sick and Pat (DH) was still away on his trip so my wonderful parents took the kids so that I could rest (Thank you both so much!) Anyway my mom said the two of them were playing and Riley fell, she saw Patrick go over to her and help her up and and gave her a hug.  A little while later Patrick brought Riley upstairs holding her hand and told Grandma "You might want to put a band aid on Riley" and showed her Riley had scrap some of the skin off her hand.

Another little story about Patrick. His class had a 100 day of school T shirt contest.  He wanted to put his name on the shirt 100 times.  So I went straight to photoshop and typed out his name 95 times thinking I'd get him to at least write it himself 5 times. ( I did get him to do it twice)  Well he come home yesterday (the contest was pospone due to wheather) with a medal around his neck saying he was "double happy today!"  Turns out he won second place. He was double happy because he also won a stuff sheep which still had the tags on it. Well after he looked at the tag he got all excited and says "and its from the dollar store!!!" Gave it a big hug and says "I love you sheep!" LOL ahh the dollar store......

These next two pages I made with  Riley Creations kit Color my world kit.  The first is long over due page from last years Easter. Patrick was a pro having been thru a couple Easter egg hunts in his life, this was Riley's 2nd easter and really the first Easter egg hunt she understood so we had a great morning. Little Molly sat in her bouncey chair and smiled and laughed at her siblings.  The second page is the free quick page I made, enjoy!

Ahhh Patrick

The other day Patrick was talking about what I had given him for snack at school that day and he called it "lame" He's only five and he already thinks things are lame. This time both my pages are about him. The first are pics of him acting all tuff and the second is my favourite picture of him. Both pages were done using a great kit by CarolineB, I love all the different textures she used for it. The kits called Archaeological Excavations and you can pick it up here at Misses Bee Haven.

Winter fun

                         

We havn't had to many nice days where the kids could play in the snow so I'm glad I took some pics when we did. Molly loved the snow, Riley wasn't in a very good mood and really didn't want to be outside but after a while she ended up enjoying herself. Patrick had a great time but was upset the snow wasn't good for building a snow man.

Two Babies!

Riley still loves her baby dolls but usually she sticks to just playing with one, I came across a pic from last year that brought back memories of "Two babies!"

A little update on Molly Jane

Molly is now 14 months old. Yesterday it dawned on me that she has a few words. Like Mama, Dada, more, up, milk, bye bye, I even swear she says "mine".  Last night she started crying at around 2 am and when I opened her bedroom door she said "Mama tuck, tuck"  and sure enough her foot was stuck in the bars of her crib.  She's growing up way to fast! Another cute example of this... the other day I bought a special princess potty seat to try to encourage Riley to start potty training.  Well later that day Molly tugs at her pants and when I ask her if she needed her diaper changed she nods her head and heads up to the bathroom, so I follow her, she picks up the potty seat and tries to put it on the toliet. I should have took a picture of how proud she looked sitting on the toliet it was very cute.

Patrick's cast.

Well the cast is off and Patrick has started using his right hand again. Although his poor pinkie looks like its permentaly bent now, his doctor said in four more weeks he'll be fine, so we'll see.  Anyway I thought it was quite fitting to use Patrick and his cast finally coming off for a Challenge page over at Miss Bee Haven's, the theme was Celebrating!

Riley and her stuff....

Lately Riley's favourite thing to play with is a basket of "stuff" which contains an assortment of toys and house hold items plus she tries to carry 2 babies and her new leapster game and whatever else didn't fit into the basket (This never ends good).  She'll empty it all out and line it up on the stairs or on the floor, and if anyone even thinks of looking at her stuff watch out! 
She reminds me of the movie "the Jerk" when he's leaving and collecting random things.  (I found a video of it. http://timewounds.multiply.com/video/item/59 )

Patrick's birthday page

Patrick had a great birthday!  He still didn't want to turn 5, but he sure did enjoy his party, presents and cake.  Thank you again to everyone who made his day extra special.

Merry Christmas!

Pat bought our first Gingerbread house for us to decorate.  It was alot of fun, all three of the kids really enjoyed it!

My little baby...

Patrick is turning 5 tomorrow!  I can't believe it.  The other day he told me he wanted to stay 4 forever and that he didn't want to grow up. If only that could come true. I'm going to add some pics, the first one is a pic of me about a week before Patrick was born, the next is Patrick at birth and the lastly is newest many faces.
